Glen Finstad - Chairman

Glen Finstad was first elected to serve on the Leduc City Council in 2010 and is currently serving his fourth term. In addition to his role with Alberta CARE, Glen is a Director of the Leduc and District Regional Waste Management Commission and member and Past Chair of the Edmonton Regional Waste Advisory Committee.

His entrepreneurial spirit and experience have given him valuable insights into the world of business ownership.  Glen’s passion for coaching and mentoring other business owners has led him to pursue a career as a Business Broker.  In this role, he assists individuals in achieving their goals and dreams of either owning or selling their businesses. He is also a resource for SmartStart, a mentorship program for new and startup businesses.

Overall, Glen is a multi-faceted individual who combines his love for community engagement, business ownership, and mentoring to make a positive impact on those around him.
